A Baby Shower for Twins!

Welcoming a baby into the world is an incredibly momentous occasion, and welcoming twins is twice as much fun! A La Carte Events & Catering recently had the pleasure of catering a baby shower at the Houston Arboretum and Nature Center. The venue’s vibrant floral décor was the perfect backdrop for this bright and festive event.

The walls of the Houston Arboretum’s indoor rooms are decorated with large paintings of carnations, dandelions, moths and butterflies in lush detail. It’s an ideal backdrop for birthday parties, baby showers, and weddings.

For this baby shower, we had the pleasure of planning with the sister-in-law of mommy to be, Sumitra. Planning all of the details of the shower, from the fun green and yellow décor, lush florals, handmade cake topper (thanks, Marcus!) and the colorful mimosa bar was just the best.

Be sure to check out the lovely little take-away favors; turquoise mason jars filled Hershey’s Kisses, topped with matching turquoise nail color. Attached to each bottle were personalized “Thank Yous” attached with curly green and yellow ribbon. These are customizable, simple and easy guest gifts for nearly any occasion.

Adorable white silk overlays with green polka dots were used to complete the look.
